About Gena Edwards
Gena Edwards is an educator, peace advocate, and humanitarian with over 15 years of experience in teaching and a background in Psychology. Throughout her career, she has been committed to empowering individuals through education while promoting values of compassion, understanding, and peaceful coexistence.
She currently serves as the Global 10 India Branch Manager of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light), where she leads initiatives that promote peace education, community service, human rights advocacy, and interfaith harmony across India.
Her journey with HWPL began in 2015 as an international volunteer in the organization's International Law Department. During this time, she worked alongside distinguished international legal experts in the drafting process of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) and contributed to preparations for the 22nd HWPL World Peace Tour to the Balkan region.
In this role, she collaborated with numerous renowned international leaders and legal scholars, including former Presidents Ivo Josipović (Croatia), Stjepan Mesić (Croatia), Bujar Nishani (Albania), and Atifete Jahjaga (Kosovo). She also worked alongside prominent legal authorities such as former President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo Prof. Enver Hasani, Dr. Ernest Petrič (Member of the UN International Law Commission), Prof. Manuel de Almeida Ribeiro (former President of ILA Portugal), and many other distinguished legal experts.
Since becoming Global 10 India Branch Manager in 2021, she has led numerous volunteer and peace-building initiatives throughout India, including Peace Sports Festivals, human rights seminars, community outreach, and peace education MOUs with colleges and universities.
