Presentation Overview & Abstract

Tracing Mahatma Gandhi's lived ethics—Truth (Satya), Non-violence (Ahimsa), Self-rule (Swaraj), and Local Self-reliance (Swadeshi)—to form a holistic worldview for addressing modern climate crises. Saji Baby argues that Gandhi's principles of voluntary restraint, ecological harmony, and decentralized living served as an early warning and a foundational philosophy for modern environmental sustainability.
